It feels like Russell Brunson is everywhere these days. He’s written articles for many magazines, he’s been on TV numerous times, and has been invited into more think tanks and discussion groups to discuss his ideas. But have you noticed that he’s been giving away free advice about leadership and events and people and what works? I recently did a search for Russell Brunson quotes and came up with many videos and articles and then compiled them into this little list of the best.
“A lot has been said recently about direction. What’s up now, this is Russell Brunson yet again. Still in beautiful Puerto Rico enjoying some of the finest marketers, thought leaders, and personal development gurus in the world. My goal is simple, to help you become your own best boss, regardless of whether you’re young or old.”
“If you are not doing anything, stop doing nothing. Do not go chasing every limelight available, don’t sit around waiting for someone else to do something, do it yourself. There are so many ideas out there it’s not possible to take the time to learn them. Find one, learn it, and go out and live it. When I left college, I said that I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Today, that dream is now reality.”
“The difference between failure and success is the amount of work you put in. Most individuals seem to expect that the longer they do, the better they’ll be. The issue is that most people never find out the way to do enough to make it successful, and if they try, they’ll fail.”
“What is the worst that can happen? You make a mistake, and you pay the purchase price, but it is nothing compared to what might happen if you succeed. Maybe you have noticed that few people who appear to live the life that they’re supposed to live always seem to fail in one way or another? That’s because most of them never took the time to learn what they did not know.”
“The only way to get to leadership is to accept the fact that you don’t have all of the answers, and then start to find them out. If you are reluctant to change, that’s the sign of someone who doesn’t want to lead.” “The first step to leadership is having the ability to see where you are not going and fixing that.” “A great leader does not just bark out orders; he listens to what his people are telling him and utilizes that information to come up with new ideas.”
“A fantastic leader understands that leaders get good results by acting decisively, by demonstrating creativity, and by inspiring confidence. Leaders do not act based on rumors; they rely on solid facts. They plan ahead. They think before they act. They take responsibility.
“A great leader knows that nobody likes a do-it-yourself; everybody wants some assistance along the way. They recognize that it’s not enough to just know the perfect thing to do; they have to be able to take it out.” “The best leaders aren’t afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes are an essential part of learning, but errors should not stop you before you can get back on your feet.”
“A company has a better probability of success if its products or services are exceptional, well priced, and widely available.” “Your clients will trust your judgment and take your advice seriously when you’re careful about their interests and their needs.” “You do not have to be perfect to be great in business; the more things you’re willing to risk, the higher your odds for success.” “To be truly great at what you do, you will need to have a passion for it, and it ought to be a reflection of who you are.”
This publication discusses various leadership styles. It lists the features of each style, which include: modesty, influence, honor, assertiveness, and respect. I highly recommend this book to anybody who has ever considered becoming a leader, and especially someone that has a background in business or management. This book gives a very clear picture of just how critical leadership is, and how to develop leadership skills. Russell Brunson is a leader who achieved tremendous success as both an executive and a coach.
He has written a very interesting and thought provoking read that everyone should read. If you are looking for an excellent introduction to the topic, with solid information and effective leadership strategies, this is it. Highly recommended.
